Hospitality Inc. is a labor of love started by Gina Weinstein. With over 20 years of experience in hospitality management, Gina is a natural when it comes to creating welcoming, beautiful, unique and profitable environments. She has successfully transformed many bars and restaurants into buzz-worthy locations that truly thrive.
In her early career, Gina managed both the bar and catering services at the popular cocktail spot, Izzy Bar & Lounge in New York City, and then managed bars at the St. Regis Hotel and Nobu Matshuhisa Restaurant in Aspen, Colorado. Upon returning to New York City, Gina began her 13-year career at The Inn at Irving Place, a small luxury hotel in Gramercy Park. After one year in corporate catering, she became Manager of the Cibar Lounge, as well as the hotel Food and Beverage Director. She was responsible for on-site catering for corporations including JPMorgan Chase, Citicorp, Credit Suisse and CondéNast. She has also worked with closely whiskey producers to create specialty events and scotch tasting menus.
Gina’s work has been featured on television and in magazines. Her cupcakes and martinis were featured on Emmy award-winner Sandra Lee’s television show, Semi-Homemade Cooking, with the Cibar Lounge crowned as one of Sandra’s favorite NY spots. David Orange of Tasted Magazine interviewed Gina for a piece titled, “Sparkling Wines in the Sparkling City,” and she was featured in a web publication with the President of Maker’s Mark on ShippingDigest.com. Other publications that have featured Gina’s impact on Cibar Lounge and her recipes include the NY Observer, In New York, Time Out New York, Italian Cooking and Living, Gourmet Magazine, Cocktails of NY and Gotham Magazine, in which Gina discussed Cibar’s unique appeal. Business Traveler magazine described Cibar as “One of New York’s best kept secrets,” and Gina’s staff, “friendly, precise and quick.”
Not only has Gina received national attention for her talents, but she has received international recognition as well, having been featured in the Japanese magazine, Tokyo Panorama for a marketing launch of Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice-based cocktails.
Gina is a certified Bourbon Expert from the Maker’s Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky and is famous for her work ethic. She has managed high-profile celebrity clientele throughout her entire career and is an expert in equipping her staff with hospitality etiquette for VIPs. Gina trains her staff at H Inc. with this same philosophy.
